Ideal altitude between 450 and 600 meters

Ideal Altitude

Natural Balance

Our vineyards are situated at an ideal altitude between 450 and 600 meters in the mountain ranges of the Monti Lessini, benefiting from cool mountain air currents.

The temperature fluctuation between the day’s warmth and the night’s coolness, combined with constant ventilation, ensures the well-being of the vineyard.

This microclimate is ideal as it protects the vines from humidity and related diseases.

Sustainability

Our concrete commitment

Our photovoltaic system supplies 95% of our energy needs. Meanwhile, our dedication to environmentally friendly practices is evident in the rigorous standards of SQNPI-certified agriculture, which ensure respect for the nature we cherish.

Reducing environmental impact is a primary goal. For this reason, we adopt an integrated approach to agricultural management to promote the biodiversity of the entire ecosystem, with particular attention to bee populations, which play a crucial role in pollination.

Only vineyards between 10 and 60 years old

Our Belief

Old Vines

The Marchi vineyards which are vinified have at least 10 years old, with some reaching up to 60 years. Only in this way can they produce grapes with the terroir’s distinctive characteristics.

The old vineyards have roots extending more than a meter deep. Here, they find a constant temperature of 15 degrees, ‘eternal spring’, which makes the vine independent of surface conditions.

Our Terroir

Nature’s Blessing

Gino Marchi used to say, ‘Keep me poor, and I will make you rich.’ He was referring to our calcareous soil, which is rich in stones and rocks.

In this soil, the roots penetrate deeply, finding natural nutrients in the calcareous minerals, resulting in clusters rich in unique flavor, taste, and complexity.

Optimal sun exposure

Sun Exposure

Light of Vitality

Our vineyards face south, thus benefiting from a more significant amount of direct sunlight throughout the day.

Sun exposure promotes efficient photosynthesis and uniform ripening of the grapes while reducing the risk of fungal diseases due to the rapid drying of leaves and clusters.

Water

Source of Vitality

If seasonal rains are insufficient, our well, located 650 meters deep, and drip irrigation ensure that our vines remain well-hydrated, guaranteeing high-quality grapes.

In this way, we prevent the risk of water stress in our vines, ensuring optimal grape ripening.

Technology at the service of nature

Technology and Nature

Quality Sinergy

We use weather stations to accurately monitor climatic conditions and ensure the well- being of our vineyards.

We can prevent potential vine deficiencies, diseases, and water stress.
